Collection: Compression

Compression garments are classified by a unit of pressure called mmHg which stands for  "millimeter of mercury".  Commonly, compression socks and compression stockings are broken down into four levels starting with Mild Graduated Compression (8-15 mmHg), Medium Graduated Compression (15-20 mmHg), Firm Graduated Compression (20-30 mmHg), and Extra Firm Graduated Compression (30-40 mmHg).  To be sure there are more including 18 mmHg for anti-embolism as well as 40-50 mmHg and 50-60 mmHg which both require a prescription.

If you need help choosing a compression level, please see our Compression Level Guide or contact us for more information.
